Hotel Theresientor - Straubing

Great location for exploring the city. Loved how close it was to restaurants and bars, and the amazing views from the terrace were a big plus! The breakfast buffet was really good, with plenty of options to choose from. Rooms were modern and clean, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.

The elevator was a bit slow, but it wasn't a deal-breaker. The parking garage was a bit tight, but that's expected in this type of place.

Guests are treated with great courtesy and attention by the receptionist. Questions were answered promptly and truthfully. Although the hotel is located in the city centre the rooms were very quiet. My room had an individual air conditioner that actually responded to desired temperature instructions and, as it was very humid outside, made my stay very comfortable.

Although the underground garage is right under the hotel - and access is easy to spot once you know where it is,potential guests could ask the hotel for exact driving directions to this side entrance before reaching the hotel.

Though we stayed only one night it was a charming location with many photo opportunities.

No place to stop the car for check-in.

The hotel's location is ideal, right on the main pedestrian area and very close to the city centre. The breakfast was extensive and tasty, with hot options like sausages and scrambled eggs. the staff was friendly and accommodating, making my stay more fun. Finally, the room was clean and had sound-proofing, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep, even during the Spring Festival.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Great location in a lively area, perfect for exploring the city during Christmas time. Room was cozy and quiet, with comfortable bed, fresh towels and necessary amenities. Breakfast was fantastic, with a variety of warm and cold dishes, fresh fruits and friendly staff.

The parking garage was a bit problematic, with narrow spaces and confusing directions. the elevator was slow and sometimes overcrowded during peak hours.

This hotel was located in the heart of the city, offering easy walking access to many restaurants, shops, museums, and a market. the rooms were comfortable and tidy, with a large bathroom and helpful staff. the breakfast buffet provided a variety of food options, including eggs, meats, fresh breads, yogurt. the hotel also had good WiFi and a great view from the dining room.

The distance to the train station, which required a taxi ride to access.
